The doctors at Uxbridge Animal Hospital will partner with you to develop a vaccine schedule specific to your pet based on the factors of age, environmental risk, and legal requirement. Our vaccine protocols reflect the most up-to-date, credible research on the safety and efficacy of vaccines. Vaccines can be broken down into two categories:
Core Vaccines: Essential vaccines recommended for all pets by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Vaccine Task Force. "Lifestyle" (Non-Core) Vaccines: Recommended for pets in special circumstances, dependent on the exposure risk of an individual pet, by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Vaccine Task Force. The Veterinarians at the Uxbridge Animal Hospital will work with you to decide which vaccines are necessary to keep your pet healthy, based on your lifestyle! |
